Directions from Grand Rapids, intersection of State Route #2 and State Route #38:

Go north on SR #38 for 29 miles,

Turn right on SR 45 for exactly 5 miles,

Turn left onto County Road 2181 (there's a sign for the Federal Campground), go 3.7 miles,

Turn left on Cad Lake Road, go 4/10ths of a mile to a left turn up a hill (don't go straight onto the more primitive looking drive - stay on the "main" driveway),

Drive about half a mile to the very end of the road - you're at Burns Lake Cabin!
